While I've been visiting Las Vegas for over 40 years and have spent a lot of time here, moving here earlier this year took things to a whole new level. I'm so glad a relative (also an REA) suggested Eric to me. He quickly assessed what I wanted and needed in a Vegas home and showed the first condo I found and wanted to see, and a number of others. Not only is Eric a Las Vegas native, but he's also a natural RE professional, and just a delightful person with a great/dry sense of humor. I was so smitten with the first condo we saw that others suffered in comparison. We made an offer on the first one, while looking at others in the meantime. Long story short, that first condo went to another buyer, and I continued my search with Eric. He showed me condos and THs in several neighborhoods, and I even made an offer on another condo (which I subsequently withdrew, after fuller consideration of what I really wanted). One day, Eric and I were looking at another batch of homes, when Eric said, let's just stop by this place I've heard about. It was - surprise! - the very first condo I'd looked at, and fallen in love with. Eric told me he'd been discussing my offer again with the seller's REA, and that it was under consideration again. Later that day, my offer was accepted. This wouldn't have happened without Eric's experience and poise. He and Stacy were amazing, helpful, and patient throughout the process; I learned more about Vegas and the RE market here in 5 weeks (and since) than I'd thought possible. Not only did Eric turn what we'd thought was a done deal back around, he and Stacy also helped me with a number of post-sale, pre-move in things while I preparing my move, including installing a new lock on my outer security door. I wholeheartedly recommend Rooftop Realty to anyone - from newbie to seasoned LV homeowner - looking for the best home-buying experience in greater Las Vegas.

i scheduled a viewing this past thursday at 5pm w eric to view an apartment. i even confirmed it w them earlier that day. i got to the viewing about 15 mins early and waited until 5pm when we scheduled. i called and texted eric and also tried to call his office and got zero response from anyone. waited for another 15 hoping someone would let me know they were there. nothing. no one ever got back to me or showed… super unprofessional and they obviously don’t care about other people’s time…

Eric Humes was an outstanding realtor and a huge part of making our move to Southern Nevada a success. He knows the local real estate market extremely well, but what really sets him apart is how committed he is to his clients. We encountered some significant problems during the process, and Eric didn’t just help us navigate them, he took ownership and found ways to solve them. He even took on tasks that weren’t technically part of his job, often without being asked. My impression throughout the entire process was that Eric’s sole goal was to make sure we were happy with the end result. Because of Eric, we were able to overcome some major obstacles and get settled into our new home before school started. Honestly, without his knowledge, persistence, and willingness to go above and beyond, I don’t think we would have made it happen. I highly recommend Eric Humes to anyone buying or selling a home in Southern Nevada. He is knowledgeable, dependable, proactive, and genuinely cares about his clients.
